ReplyDeleteIs cornstarch or flour the best option?
ReplyDelete@Mrs. Diner - because I am gluten-free, I use cornstarch. But many of my friends use flour instead. It's your call on how you want to make it, but either way works really well.
ReplyDeletewhat kind of oil do u use.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous - I use canola because that's what we always have in the house. But you could use any other oil you feel comfortable deep-frying with.
ReplyDeleteThe batter was a little too runny with the cornstarch to coat them fully, endes up adding an additional 1/4 cup flour to batter and it works great. Great with coconut oil ! Tasty stuff
